For intense odours, including onion and garlic, choose BVIC Endurance. For everyday microbial odours, choose BVIC.

The stubborn smell

When a smell keeps returning, or a deodorant that used to work has stopped, it could be a biofilm shielding the bacteria from the antimicrobial you put on top. Microbes also shelter deep in the follicles, or dead skin and residue block the product. Whichever it is, the answer is the same: reset the skin first, then protect.

Use it daily in place of your usual soap. It clears the surface, the pores and the follicles, and holds the skin at a slightly acidic pH, so the shield is slower to build back.

Reset · 1 to 2× a week

Bio-Reset: Poly Acid Resurfacing Wash Coming soon

Used once or twice a week in place of the daily wash. A deeper resurfacing that clears the biofilm, the follicular build-up and the dead skin, so everything you apply reaches the skin again.

It works on several odour pathways at once: it reduces the microbes, blocks the enzyme behind the sharp smell, and traps the odour before it reaches the air. Use it daily on any apocrine site.

The waxy, "older skin" smell

The waxy, greasy, faintly grassy note people call "older people smell" forms when the skin's own oils oxidise. Bacteria do not produce this smell, so it is beyond a deodorant's reach.

It dissolves the oxidised oil film that a soapy wash leaves behind, and deactivates the smell compound at the same time.

Whole body

BVI Barrier Cream Coming soon

Use it all over the body after a shower, like a moisturiser. It slows the oxidation of the skin's oils, the change that creates the smell. The mechanism is sound, though a deodorising effect on skin has not been proven.

On the apocrine sites

BVIC Endurance or BVIC

Both slow the oxidation at the underarm, groin or folds. BVIC Endurance also captures the smell compound.
