I created Super Deodorant 21 years ago using the same ingredients, except for one: vegetable shortening and shea butter were used instead of soy butter.  Having worked with this formula for half my life, I understand its chemistry profoundly and have a unique connection with it. I genuinely love it for what it is.

When I launched this product to the world in 2020, it was met with great enthusiasm and praise. However, as time passed, some criticism emerged. A subset of our returning customers expressed dissatisfaction regarding the product's appearance and texture changes compared to their first experience with it.

I sincerely thank everyone for sharing your insights. Through your feedback, I reaffirm my commitment to delivering a product that truly works while remaining gentle on the skin. I understand how changes in appearance or texture might raise concerns, and some customers have said, "You sent a bad batch," "Your quality control is poor," or "You changed the formula, and it doesn't work as well anymore." The fact is, I have not made a single change to the process or the chemistry of the formula.

I created Super Deodorant for people like my mother, who needed a deodorant that stopped odor gently. My focus has always been to provide you with a deodorant that prevents body odor without side effects. While other brands focus on aesthetics, sensory appeal, and long shelf life, my priority has always been performance and safety. I refuse to turn this into another pretty-looking product that makes grand claims without delivering results.

To address your concerns, I want to share the guiding principles behind the creation of Super Deodorant:

1. The deodorant must cling to the skin and not penetrate it.
   
2. The ingredients must be well tolerated by most skin types, particularly those with extreme skin sensitivities.
   
3. The deodorant must not alter the skin's acid mantle or cause irritation.
   
4. The actives must be released gradually without getting washed away by sweat or water.

The second part was the hardest to accomplish, so I excluded emulsifiers, stabilizers, and broad-spectrum preservatives. These exclusions ensure the product remains as natural and skin-friendly as possible, avoiding potential irritants while delivering effective and gradual release of the active ingredients. I rely on physical force to bind the ingredients and create a homogenous mixture. Beyond hard manual labor, nothing in the formula holds all the ingredients together.

I understand that receiving a batch that looks or feels different can be concerning, but this variability reflects the natural and handcrafted nature of Super Deodorant. While the product's appearance, consistency, and texture may vary due to environmental conditions, its formula and performance remain consistently effective. Some batches might be thick and paste-like, while others may feel creamier or separated and mildly gritty. This natural variability is a hallmark of its authenticity, and knowing how it has helped so many regain confidence inspires me to keep sharing it with the world.

If your paste is a bit thinner, just apply a little more, spread it evenly under your arm, and gently rub it in. That's all you need to do! For the best Super Deodorant experience, shower daily and exfoliate with an acid peel once or twice a month. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and product buildup, ensuring better contact between the deodorant and your skin for optimal performance.
