Natural and traditional deodorants may contain different ingredients, but their main goal is the same: to prevent body odour. Deodorants work by either altering the skin's pH to make it more acidic or basic or by using a combination of ingredients to create an antimicrobial effect. Super Deodorant uses the latter method to combat body odour effectively.
Deodorant fatigue
For Super Deodorant to be fully effective, it must be applied to clean, dry skin. When your skin naturally exfoliates and sheds dead skin cells, Super Deodorant will provide 24-hour protection against body odour. If your underarms still have an odour before the day is over, despite using the correct serving size of Super Deodorant, you might be experiencing deodorant fatigue. Yes, deodorant fatigue is a real thing.
Deodorant fatigue can occur unexpectedly for anyone when their skin cell turnover slows down, leading to a buildup of saturated deodorant from previous applications. When Super Deodorant is applied over dead skin cells, the deodorant's actives quickly reach equilibrium and wear off, resulting in body odour.
The skin's natural exfoliation process can be affected by various factors such as age, diet, medication, and lifestyle choices. If you often experience deodorant fatigue, consider exfoliating your underarms once or twice a month. In addition to making your Super Deodorant work more effectively, exfoliation can help unclog pores, prevent ingrown hairs, bumps, and pimples, enhance skin tone, and reduce hyperpigmentation.
How do you exfoliate your underarms?
Please avoid using physical exfoliants like scrubs, brushes, and tools. They can increase the risk of over-exfoliation, which may cause skin damage. Injuries from over-exfoliation can lead to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which can be quite a hassle to deal with.
Instead, use an acid peel. An acid peel exfoliates the skin by dissolving the barrier formed by dead skin cells and other impurities, revealing the new skin underneath.
How to choose an acid peel?
If your skin is sensitive, opt for an AHA peel with mandelic or glycolic acid.
If you have very sensitive skin, choose a PHA peel.
If your skin can handle anything, go with a BHA peel. BHAs have a smaller molecular structure, allowing them to penetrate quickly and deeply.
Compared to AHA or BHA, PHA has a larger molecular structure, which means it doesn't penetrate the skin as deeply. While it may not be as effective as the other two, it's a fantastic choice for individuals with extremely sensitive skin.
Carefully read the instructions on the product box and use the product as directed. Avoid exfoliating too often, as excessive exfoliation may cause irritation and discomfort. Using the product once or twice a month should produce satisfactory results. Avoid leave-on products.
Exfoliating the skin is not mandatory. However, if your skin cell turnover slows down and you are forced to reapply your deodorant twice or thrice daily, exfoliating your skin becomes a smarter, more convenient option.
We cannot recommend a specific acid peel because so many options are available at different prices. We suggest choosing a product that your skin can tolerate and something that fits your budget.

Hi there, I just received your product a few days ago seem to like it so far. I have a question, wouldn’t just washing armpits with soap and water using wash cloth do a good enough job exfoliating?
